Frequently Asked Questions
-
A sonic toothbrush uses high-frequency vibrations to generate sonic waves that assist in breaking down plaque and debris on teeth and along the gum line. Unlike regular electric toothbrushes that rely primarily on mechanical rotation or oscillation to clean teeth, sonic toothbrushes offer a dynamic cleaning action that reaches deep between teeth and below the gum line for a more thorough cleaning.
-
It is recommended to replace your sonic toothbrush head every three months or sooner if the bristles become frayed. Regular replacement is crucial as worn-out bristles lose their effectiveness in cleaning and may harbor bacteria, which can lead to poor oral hygiene and potentially compromise your dental health.
-
Spark is engineered to clean effectively without being harsh. It uses gentle sonic vibrations that are kind to your gums and enamel — making it ideal for daily use, even if you have sensitivity.
You can choose between three modes to suit your needs:
Sensitive: Extra-soft vibrations that protect your gums and are perfect for everyday use.
Power: More intense vibrations for a deeper, more thorough clean.

The charging port is located at the bottom of the toothbrush, open the small lid to access it. Then plug the USB-C cable into a power source, such as a phone charger adapter or your laptop. Make sure the toothbrush is turned off while charging. A full charge takes about 3 hours. We recommend fully charging it before first use or if it hasn't been used for a few months.
