How to use Flare

1. Preparing the Device:

• Insert the nozzle into the top of the product
  until you hear a click.
• Open the water tank lid and fill it with water.
• Close the water tank lid.
  

2. Using the Device:

• Place the nozzle above the gum line
  between teeth.
• Slightly close your lips to avoid splashing.
• Press the power/mode button to start the device (standard, soft, or massage mode).
• Move the nozzle along the gum line and between teeth.
  

Troubleshooting

If the device does not work:

• Charge the device for 3 hours.
• Contact customer service if it still doesn’t work.

If water pressure is low:

• Replace the nozzle.
• Ensure the water tank is filled.
• Use the device in a vertical position.

• If the product does not work properly or is broken.

• Do not aim the water jet under the tongue, in the ears, nose or eyes.

• Consult a dentist if your gums bleed heavily after use or continue to bleed after 4 weeks.

• Consult a dentist if you have had recent oral or gum surgery or other dental treatments.

Medical Conditions:

Consult a doctor before use if you have medical conditions or use a pacemaker or other implanted device.

General Safety:

• Use only accessories recommended by Lucent.

• Do not disassemble the product.

• Do not pour hot water or unapproved solutions into the water tank.

• Do not insert foreign objects into openings.

• Do not clean with a dishwasher or microwave.
